We'll be there fast to alleviate damage caused by fire and smoke.
After a fire, our first priority is to address your concerns. We will pre-test to see what type of smoke has occurred, since knowing the types of smoke and their behavior patterns is vital to proper restoration. Pre-testing determines which cleaning method we should conduct and what can be restored or replaced.
Pre-testing also allows us to focus on saving your precious items.
Isn't that what really matters?
In the event of fire, smoke or soot damage, remember:
- Please make sure you do not wash any walls or painted surfaces or shampoo carpet or upholstered furniture. Instead, blow-off or brush-vacuum loose soot particles from upholstery, drape, and carpets; you may also want to place clean towels or old linens on rug and carpet traffic areas to prevent further soiling.
- Also, we discourage sending garments to an ordinary dry cleaner, as improper cleaning may set the smoke odor in your clothing.
- Please do not clean or use any electrical appliances that may have been close to fire, heat, or water.
- It is also important to remember that canned or packaged food and beverages that were exposed to these elements may be contaminated and could pose a health risk.
- If the electricity is off for any reason, empty the freezer and refrigerator completely and prop open doors. Pour anti-freeze into sinks, toilet bowls, and tubs if the heat is off during freezing season.
